What are the plan fees?
If you join as an individual or an eligible employee of a participating employer, your fee for investment and custodial fees is 0.6% of the value of your assets.
Unless a participating employer agrees to pay employer fees, members assume an additional flat plan administration fee of $4 per month until their account size reaches $3,000. Once this threshold is reached, the fee increases to $7 per month.
Transaction and processing charges are $25 per transaction for fund withdrawals, partial transfers out, and death and marriage breakdown processing. The fee is $75 for a full transfer out and $40 for non-sufficient funds (NSF) processing.
We don’t charge any fees to transfer existing RRSP or TFSA assets into the plan, although the financial institution a member is transferring out from may have fees associated with the transfer of those funds.
