You can withdraw money from your TFSA or RRSP, either in part or in full.
If you are a PSW Savings Bonus Program member: bonus funds are subject to a 2-year waiting period from the date of your acceptance into the program and cannot be withdrawn during this time. Your personal contributions (money you deposited from your own bank account) can be withdrawn at any time.
It's important to remember that withdrawing from RRSPs before retirement can result in negative tax implications. If you are a PSW Savings Bonus Program member, any bonus funds you withdraw are considered taxable income and will be reported on a T4A slip — this applies whether the funds are held in an RRSP or a TFSA.
There is a transaction fee to complete a withdrawal.
