To ensure your contribution meets the RRSP deadline for a tax deduction, contributions to the plan must be made by March 2nd, 2026 at 11:59 PM. If you make contributions after this date, you will have to claim them as deductions on your 2026 tax return. Even though transactions can take up to 10 business days to process, as long as you submit before the deadline, your contribution will be processed for the 2025 tax season.
