Once you've submitted your transfer request, here's what to expect along the way:
- We'll send your transfer request to your current financial institution. This typically happens within 1–2 business days of submission.
- Your current institution will review and release your funds. This step usually takes up to 4 weeks, depending on the account type and your institution's processing times.
- Your savings will appear in your My65+ account. Once the transfer is complete, your retirement plan will update to reflect your full picture. To keep your Retirement Forecast accurate, we recommend reviewing your outside savings to make sure the transferred funds aren't double-counted.
- Send us a recent statement (if you haven't already). Sharing a recent statement from your other institution helps us verify your account details and prevent delays. You can send it to our support team.
