Invite a new employee to join your retirement plan
Customize and send this email when you hire a new employee.
Subject: Explore your retirement benefits & claim the pay [Employer] has set aside for you
Hello [employee name],
We're excited to have you on our team. As part of our employee benefits, we are pleased to offer a workplace retirement plan from Common Wealth.
my65+ is a retirement plan that gives you a TFSA and RRSP so you can grow your savings for retirement. When you create an account, you can decide how much you want to save each month, and it will come right off your paycheque.
The best part is that when you save to your TFSA, [Employer name] will match you dollar for dollar – that means for every dollar you contribute, [Employer name] will deposit the same amount to your RRSP account – up to a maximum of [$xxx] each year.
This plan gives you full access to make changes, check your balance, or withdraw funds. Your account is yours for life! It stays with you, job to job and into retirement.
What’s next?
You will soon receive an email from enroll@my65plus.ca with an invitation to join the plan. It only takes about 10 minutes to set up your account. Please use a computer instead of a mobile device to enroll.

Transferring a TFSA or RRSP
Your plan offers a far better rate than the typical bank RRSP. This means your employees will benefit by transferring any of their existing TFSAs and RRSPs into your plan. Send this email to employees who have signed up to the plan to show them how to drive more value from their savings.
Subject: Transfer your existing TFSAs/RRSPs into my65+ to make your savings go further
Hi everyone,
One of the reasons we chose my65+ as our workplace retirement plan is their low fees. As you may have discovered, the plan enables you to transfer in any existing TFSAs/RRSPs you might have – like those from your bank or a previous group plan.
By transferring in, you can manage all your retirement savings in one place, and more importantly, low fees mean you keep more of the money you make on investments!
Need help?
If you have questions or want help transferring in your existing TFSA/RRSPs, you can book a 1:1 session with my65+ using the link below.
